NORTH London consultancy Saber Solutions claims to offer “proven legal success” and “top-notch legal assistance” stemming from 25 years of experience, specialising in council housing, benefits and immigration.
Its services appeal to asylum-seekers and immigrants, especially those who don’t speak English, acknowledging they are some of the most vulnerable members of society. Many are unable to secure representation through legal aid and their futures often depend on the outcome of the cases they take to its smart office on Kilburn High Road.
However, former employees and clients have told the Eye it employs unqualified agents, is operating illegally and blatantly, and rips clients off while putting them at serious risk of deportation, homelessness and, due to lax data protection, even exposure to the individuals or authorities they have come here to escape. It has recently set up a business in Iraq, falsely promising it can help gain visas by buying accommodation for clients in the UK.
