‘A twist will stimulate digestion. Sit on the floor and step your right foot over your outstretched left leg (your right knee points to the ceiling). Exhale and twist forward from the belly to your right side. With each inhalation, lift more. Press your right hand against the floor behind your right buttock, pulling your torso and inner right thigh together. Distribute the twist through the length of your spine. Hold for 30-60 seconds. Repeat on your left side. Follow with a cat stretch to help release the spine after sleep.’
