TREBLES all round for investors in private children’s home provider Your Chapter who shared £11m in taxpayer-funded dividends last year – £157,000 for every young person in the company’s residential care.
Accounts released in December show the company took almost £23m in fees from local authorities for 70 children in 2024. It made £7.6m in pre-tax profit over two years, including proceeds from the sale of its fostering business. Director-shareholder Rizwan Khan and his companies were also paid £99,400 in interest on loans at a rate of 12 percent, £830,000 for consultancy services, £130,859 for rent and fees and £52,738 for marketing.
