FRENCH LETTERS
TORY shadow sports minister Louie French had a good time last year, receiving a number of freebies from the horseracing industry.
In March he was gifted two tickets to the races, worth £450, by horseracing firm the Jockey Club, which gave him a further two tickets, worth £680, to attend Epsom on the day of the Oaks in June. Later that month, Ascot shelled out £590 to give French tickets to its Royal Ascot meeting, and Ascot again paid for him to attend the races on 18 October.
