finally does go through, will the new owners manage to haul the former newspaper back towards reality from the fantasy world it increasingly inhabits?
Just days after being obliged to publish yet another correction to an erroneous “news” story about Ed Miliband’s net zero plans, its ninth in recent months (Eye 1648), the Telegraph leapt back aboard one of its other hobby-horses with an article in the online Money section last Sunday headlined: “We earn £345k, but soaring private school fees mean we can’t go on five holidays.”
