PLAYING CATCH-UP
LOBBYING firm FGS Global, whose clients have included the likes of dodgy fast-fashion retailer Shein and consultancy firm EY, has put a lot of effort into cosying up to chancellor Rachel Reeves.
Before the election, it spent more than £14,200 to second a “campaign adviser” to Reeves’s office and, on 23 September 2024, the lobbying firm covered the costs of the reception after her Labour conference speech to the tune of almost £13,000 (Eyes 1624 & 1636).
