Amazon’s delivery drones will be a flying menace
I’m alarmed to read about Amazon testing its drones in Darlington (Issue 728, page 6), and hope the public will reject this flying menace. Amazon claims the drones are “as quiet as an average van delivery”, but what matters is frequency, not noise level. If drones eventually fly as often as vans, then we’ll all hear a permanent buzz in the background.
