What are they?
Efficiency cores (E-cores) are smaller, less powerful but more energy-efficient CPU cores that work alongside the bigger, more powerful Performance cores (P-cores) in modern Intel processors. They’re designed to handle background tasks, like streaming music, running browser tabs, downloading system updates and running antivirus checks.
