Bright idea
Many PC users prefer to work in the dark, as it helps them concentrate; others might not have much choice. They don’t necessarily want desk lamps or overhead lighting, just enough light to see what they’re doing without losing focus on the job in hand. This has given birth to the screen bar: a long LED light that perches on the top of your screen, lighting up the immediate desk area but not the wider space. In theory, this can help reduce eye strain and make it easier to concentrate – day or night.
