Draw up a list of every feature you might want from a security camera, and the eufyCam S4 would have them all, plus a few you didn’t think of. It has two cameras, one with a 4K resolution and the other with a 2K resolution and an 8x hybrid zoom, which uses cropping and digital processing to go beyond the 3x optical zoom. It also has a solar panel for unlimited power supply; colour and infrared night vision; and subscription-free video storage. It’s expensive, but look at what you get.
It’s a bulky piece of kit and not exactly discreet, especially with the solar panel attached – you can also mount this separately on a nearby window sill or wall. Still, it’s easy to install, and setting up takes just a few minutes using Eufy’s smartphone app.
