Linux-style top menu bar could come to Windows

Microsoft’s PowerToys team is working on a menu bar for the top of the Windows 11 desktop that’s similar to the bar in many Linux distros, including some versions of Zorin, and Spotlight in macOS.
Once you launch the bar you’ll be able to type into it to run commands, launch software or open PowerToys tools. This should prove a quicker alternative than clicking through the Start menu or taskbar.
