I have a terrible habit of ignoring tech problems until it’s too late to fix them. I put up with years of flickering on my old LG TV, until it permanently conked out and I had to buy a new one.
The latest example of my foolish procrastination concerns my HP laptop’s memory. With only 8GB of RAM, it’s been struggling to cope with the memory-intensive demands of the latest software, AI tools and video-stuffed websites. This has caused frequent freezes and crashes, and required much pressing of the power button to perform a ‘hard restart’.
