AMAZON is running an advertising campaign that celebrates its commitment to flexible working. Why this ad, now?
The 30-second spot, which Amazon describes as “heart-warming”, features a smiling warehouse worker clocking off at the fulfilment centre to go and spend precious time playing with his kids. “At Amazon, we offer term-time working to our employees,” says the soothing voiceover. “So when they’re on a school break, you can take one too.”
