KINGS Place in Kings Cross, London, is best known for hosting arts events and for being the home of the
Guardian
newspaper’s offices. Hardly the place you’d expect to host the upcoming Defence in Space conference (DISC25), sponsored by one of the world’s largest arms manufacturers, Lockheed Martin (LM). DISC25 is “for and by the space and defence industry” and will discuss topics including space-based intelligence surveillance to support military operations.
