REFORM UK councillor Jaymey McIvor chose to unfurl a union jack during a recent Essex county council meeting and, he claims, the move provoked jeering laughter from both Conservative and Labour councillors.

Last week McIvor went on GB News to tell Martin Daubney: “I was really saddened. To laugh as I wrap my country’s flag, that I believe is a symbol of democracy and freedom and political accountability – to laugh as I bring that flag out – it’s just so sad.”
