NIGHT BLUBBING
The Guardian seems to be going through a nostalgic midlife crisis, commissioning multiple pieces about the decline of nightclubbing.
One, on 27 December, collected reminiscences of the glory days under the headline, “‘A taste of Ibiza in grotty King’s Cross’: memories of closed UK nightclubs” – but failed to record that the venue in question had been closed to make way for the redevelopment of the area behind King’s Cross station that created, among other things, a shiny new HQ for the Guardian!
