Kinlochleven’s Co-op store has been thanked for its latest donation of £2,294.68 from the local community fund to social enterprise Kinlochlovin’.
Over the past few years, the Co-op has raised more than £5,000 for Kinlochlovin’, a huge and highly-valued contribution. Kinlochlovin is a not-forprofit organisation which aims to ensure that, faced with a range of challenges including rural isolation, the young people of Kinlochleven have access to the same opportunities as young people elsewhere.
‘This is such a valuable project, both in terms of life and employability skills. ‘We know that through Kinlochlovin’ we can all work together to provide the training, support and enterprising skills necessary to ensure all of the young people of Kinlochleven have an equal platform to showcase their talents,’ said a statement on behalf of Kinlochlovin’.
