More Roamerisms from the early 1990s
As one of Lochaber’s ‘phone box quorum’ of Hearts supporters I had no axe to grind whilst sitting among 50 Rangers and Celtic fans watching the Old Firm semi-final on the Pulp Mill Club big screen on Wednesday night. And I was mightily impressed the local ‘faithfuls’ sat side by side, shouting on their respective teams, buying drams for each other and never a cross word. Plenty of banter, right enough, before, during and after the game. And that, of course, is as it should be.
